From Awareness to Action: Celebrating World Environment Day 2023 with Unwavering Commitment

Team RenewSys celebrates World Environment Day with unwavering commitment and passion every year, and 2023 was no exception.


The day was packed with events that reaffirm our dedication to building a sustainable future, from raising awareness about the pressing issue of plastic pollution to organizing tree plantation drives and participating in thought-provoking quizzes.


Here is a glimpse of our teams in Patalganga, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Mumbai celebrating World Environment Day.


Patalganga


The team at the Patalganga facility commenced the day with a compelling presentation and an engaging quiz focused on the theme "NO to Plastics," followed by a tree plantation drive together with the teachers and staff of Patalganga Rasayani Industrial Association school.




Hyderabad:

The team at the Hyderabad facility organized a tree plantation drive as part of an awareness program on environmental protection. The employees and staff members of the facility, who are all deeply committed to building a greener future and have already planted close to 400 saplings over the past three years, came together and planted an additional 45 saplings to commemorate the occasion.



Bengaluru:

The team at the Bengaluru facility enthusiastically wore the “Beat Plastic Pollution” badges and conducted insightful discussions led by Mr. Rajesh Singh, Mr. Sathish Kumar, Mr. Jayaram, and Mr. Jagadeesh.


A webinar on the topic “The Future of E-waste Recycling is being organized for the team, starting with the first session for team leads from all RenewSys offices and facilities in India to improve the understanding of what constitutes e-waste.


In addition to the impactful webinar, team RenewSys is taking concrete steps towards fostering responsible e-waste management by installing e-waste disposal bins in all offices across India and is encouraging employees to actively participate in e-waste disposal.
