RenewSys appoints veteran banker Mrs. Sugandhi Iyer as its third Independent Director

Mumbai, August 2025- RenewSys India Pvt. Ltd., India’s first integrated manufacturer of Solar PV Modules and their key components; Encapsulants, Backsheets, and Solar PV Cells; is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Sugandhi Iyer as Non-Executive Independent Director on 20^th August, 2025.

Mrs. Sugandhi Iyer brings over 37 years of distinguished experience at the State Bank of India (SBI), retiring in 2024 as General Manager (Credit Risk). A seasoned banker, she possesses deep expertise in corporate banking, credit assessment, risk management, and stressed asset resolution. She also played a key role in SBI’s digital transformation, contributing to the launch of its flagship platform, YONO (You Only Need One). Her extensive experience and leadership further strengthen RenewSys as it advances India’s ambitious renewable energy goals. Mrs. Iyer joins the board alongside Mrs. Rekha Bagry Nair, who has worked with RSM & Co and PwC and served as a consultant, and Mrs. Anagha Anasingaraju, a partner at KANJ & Co LLP, Company Secretaries.
